The Autism Giving Tree

As autism parents, one of the most frustrating challenges has been finding service providers that are both exceptional and passionate about working with special needs people and their families. But, when working with Christina, exceptional and passionate is exactly what we got! When our now nearly 7 year old son was 4/5 years old and attending "typical" summer camp and later mainstream preschool, he struggled socially and behaviorally. Christina's development and implementation of effective behavioral and social strategies fostered a supportive environment where our son felt more confident and was able to demonstrate improved behavior and peer socialization. She also provided tremendous guidance to us, which in turn enabled us to better understand our son's strengths and challenges and more deeply embrace his quirkiness. Christina was a consistent team player and worked cooperatively with other support providers and teachers to ensure our son was set up for success and continued growth. She is by far the best BCBA our son has ever had! Even still today - though it's been more than two years since she worked with us - we still consult with her for assistance. Her knowledge and feedback is truly invaluable!
